We believe that there is the perfect class for everyone from those on a serious fitness drive to others who want to stay toned and flexible.
A barbell workout is specifically for anyone who wants to get lean, toned, and fit! Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, Barbell Burn gives you a total body workout.
It is the perfect way to tone your body, burn calories and train all your major muscle groups in one session shaping and defining your body. You will target your lower body, upper body and core in every class.
Pilates uses smooth, deliberate movements and controlled postures to tone your muscles while increasing your flexibility. Purely focused on exercise and breathing technique alone, the class offers a low-impact, deep-reaching work out for your “core” – your abdominals, pelvis, back, shoulders and buttocks. To truly tone up: learn proper alignment, centring, concentration, control, precision, breathing and flowing movement.
Experience the fusion of end-range strength training and ground-based movement in organic strength. This class enhances joint mobility, strength, and overall body awareness. Designed for all levels, enjoy a holistic workout that embraces the essence of primal movement.
SYNRGY is circuit-based training centred around the Synrgy Rig 360 located in TP4 gym. It’s designed for a whole-body workout and to get the heart racing. Involving a variety of functional, strength and cardio based exercises you are guaranteed a challenging but enjoyable workout.
Stretch & Core
A low impact class suitable for all abilities. With a strong focus on mobility and strengthening muscles in and around the core. Improve your posture and build a strong core through a variety of exercises designed to strengthen your abdomen and back muscles while increasing your flexibility. This class is ideal for mobility and injury prevention.
Boxercise is an exercise concept based on the training methods used by boxers. Sessions typically involve hitting focus pads, but no class involves hitting an opponent. It is a fun, challenging and safe workout which is great for stress busting, accessible to all ages and fitness levels.
Fitball & Core
Improve your posture and balance while working your core stabilisers and other muscles during this safe and effective way of training. Fitball will help strengthen the core muscles: abs, hips, lower back, and the thighs. It may also involve adding resistance to advance your workout for the upper and lower body. Witness improvement in abdominal tone within weeks and remember core strength is the key to functional strength and a healthy back.
Barre Incorporates the precision of Pilates with the positions, moves, grace and technique of ballet. Add to this the alignment of yoga and the strength from sports conditioning and you will have all the aspects of a typical Barre workout. A challenging and exciting workout, which stretches and sculpts the muscles, while burning fat. This workout produces dramatic results that redefine the entire body, without being a dancer.
Strength & Conditioning
A total body strength and cardio conditioning class that involves a range of exercises to develop and tone muscle. Classes are varied and include resistance and body weight training, cardio, and ab workouts.
Work out all your major muscle groups in this exciting and varied fast-paced class. HIIT turns body fat into a fat burning super engine. This training protocol works the body through the whole range of total-body exercises with high repetitions and minimal rest periods creating high intensity workouts for those that like to work.
Get fit while having fun with Dancefit, a dance-based fitness class incorporating a diverse range of genres and eras. Expect jive, jazz, hip hop, Bollywood, Charleston, salsa, 1920s to the 1990s and many more. Dancefit is the perfect way to burn off the stresses of the day. Suitable for all fitness levels.
A fast-paced class combining strength training exercises with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) drills to achieve results very quickly. This class targets all the major muscle groups utilising our unique ‘Decks’. HIIT strength will stimulate a high metabolic response to melt away body fat and build lean muscle. If you like to challenge yourself then this is the class for you.
The clue is in the name! Our deep stretch class is designed to full test and improve your full body overall flexibility. Perfect for all ages and fitness types, this class can help prevent future mobility complications and latent muscle cramping and pain.
Tabata is a type of high-intensity interval training routine (HIIT) with a strict regime of eight sets of intense exercises. Each one is carried for 20 seconds followed by 10-second rest intervals. Do this a total of eight times equals one Tabata (four minutes)

With no complicated moves to learn, with the best instructors and music that begs your legs to pedal, getting into the best shape of your life has never been more fun. Look no further for a calorie-burning, energising, fun workout for all levels.
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing to still the mind.
Core & More
This class focuses on strengthening the abdominals, glutes, lower back, hips, and shoulders either as the primary or supportive muscles. Challenge your core muscles and learn how to strengthen the muscles that stabilise your back, hips, and shoulders.
Turbo charge your workout. Cycle circuits is a total body workout that involves a mix of spin bike and circuit training. You will be on and off the bike for intervals of weights and cardio for an all-in-one calorie shredding and muscle building class improve all aspects of your physical ability and appearance with this high intensity but highly enjoyable type of training.

thePoint4 is a public fitness and sports facility. We offer fitness Membership packages that provide access to our 60+ Station Gym Suite, as well as a great variety of weekly Group Exercise Classes.
In addition, we have an Indoor Sports Hall, Outdoor 4G Astro Turf and Conference Studios available for hire. For either personal or club bookings, with select equipment available at request.
Simply download thePoint4’s App! Downloading and registering an account is completely free, and allows you to see our live Group Exercise Program, meaning you can see all available classes and their descriptions for the next week. A web-based alternative can be found HERE
Physical copies of our class timetable can be found at our reception desk, this can be emailed to you if requested – firstname.lastname@example.org
If you’re new to thePoint4, ask us about our 3-Day Pass. For all newcomers visiting the centre, this pass will allow you free entry, either to an exercise class or a gym session for 3 consecutive days. Giving you the chance to try out a few classes before deciding whether you would like to sign up with us.
No - everyone is welcome to use all of our facilities on a pay-as you go basis.
Classes are available to both Members and Non Members. For Non Members, each class is £7.00, and you may book up to 7 days in advance. Even without a Membership, you can still pay for and book your class using thePoint4’s App or Self Service Website.

There are NO joining fees when signing up for a Membership at thePoint4. We also do not deal with any fixed-term Memberships, allowing you the freedom to join and leave as best suits you. All you need to do is choose your preferred Membership type, and whether you wish to pay monthly or annually.
There is a café available on site, located by our reception desk. ‘The Pod’ offers Costa Coffee, cakes, pastries and Sub Sandwiches and Wraps made fresh by request.
Outside of their standard opening hours, there are still sandwiches, snacks and drinks (both hot and cold) available through self-service.
Members of thePoint4 qualify for free parking in our car park. All Non Members will need to pay to cover the duration of their stay. Options available are 2-hour, 4-hour and All Day, starting as low as £1.00.
As part of becoming a Member with thePoint4, our expert Instructors will take you through an Induction process. The first appointment will familiarise you with our gym equipment and how to use appropriately. From there will be optional follow up appointments, where our Instructors can work with you to design a bespoke exercise program that will align best with your chosen fitness goals.
In addition, we offer a Personal Training Rental Scheme. Where qualified and insured Personal Trainers can rent our facility to conduct their Personal Training sessions with clients. If you’re interested in becoming a client, provide us with your details and we will put you in touch with a suitable Personal Trainer.
We are found off Venns Lane, in Hereford. The turning for our car park and front entrance is located off Campbell Road. We share the same building and campus as The Royal National College for the Blind, who we are in partnership with.
