As we approach Christmas, I find myself reflecting on the progress the Centre has made over the past year.
While this journey has not been without its challenges, our team has consistently demonstrated an outstanding commitment to our core values and to continuous improvement across thePoint4, both now and for the future.
With the introduction of new member events such as Wellbeing Days, member evenings, quiz nights, and forums, we continue to listen closely to feedback in order to enhance the member journey and foster a stronger sense of community within the Centre. The cosmetic improvements throughout the building have been a welcome addition, enhancing the overall look and feel, with much more planned throughout 2026.
We have also expanded as a facility, with the addition of a state-of-the-art spin room and the recent opening of our therapy room, available for both internal and external use. In addition, the launch of our Refuel Café marks an exciting development, and we are continuing to explore new options while working closely with our catering partners, Thomas Franks, to ensure the offering reflects what our members would like to see.
You may have noticed that our team is growing rapidly, with new instructors joining us as we introduce a wider range of classes—many of which we have not offered before. Our multi-skilled staff are trained to a high standard, and further improvements to our class programme are on the horizon. Keep an eye out for our new-look timetable, launching from 5th January.
We are delighted that all our local grassroots teams have returned this winter to make use of our facilities, as we continue to partner with numerous clubs across the county and establish thePoint4 as a hub for sporting activity. This year, we have proudly hosted a variety of national events, including Pole Art, Comic Con, and Circus Starr, with many more exciting events planned for the New Year.
We are also exploring both short- and long-term options regarding our car park. We recognise that certain times of the day can be challenging, but please be assured that we are working tirelessly to improve this.
Finally, I would like to thank our incredible members, bookings, and visitors. Your enthusiasm and positivity mean a great deal to us, and we are truly grateful for your continued support.
On behalf of everyone at thePoint4, I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you in 2026!
