About Our Gym
Our Gym has just been refurbished (November 2023) and offers our customers a spacious and fully accessible 60 station gym area. Our state of the art equipment includes the Synrgy90 functional rig, Life Fitness and Hammer Strength resistance machines. A wide variety of free weights with dumbbells ranging from 2.5kg – 50kg, a huge variety of cardio equipment including a Jacobs ladder, assault bike and ski erg along with your more established cardio machines e.g. treadmills, bikes, rowers and Stairmasters. Fully air conditioned and natural light entering the gym with large windows overlooking our 4G pitch.

Gym Induction
Not only will you get to work with an experienced, qualified instructor, but all new members can benefit from a minimum of three appointments with a fitness instructor as well as individually tailored fitness programmes free of charge

All of our personal trainers are highly experienced. Whatever your fitness goals or fitness levels, we have a personal trainer to suit your needs.

thePoint4 is a public fitness and sports facility. We offer fitness Membership packages that provide access to our 60+ station gym suite, as well as a great variety of weekly group exercise classes.
In addition, we have an indoor sports hall, outdoor 4G pitch and conference suites available for hire. For either personal or club bookings, with select equipment available at request.
Simply download thePoint4’s App from the App Store or Google Play. Downloading and registering an account is completely free, and allows you to see our live group exercise program, with availability and descriptions for the following week. A web-based alternative can be found here
Physical copies of our class timetable can be picked up at reception or emailed to you - ask here.
Non members are able to book up to 7 days in advance. Members are able to book up to 8 days - allowing them first access. All of our class spaces operate on a first-come, first-served basis in order to maintain fairness.
Whilst classes such as HIIT and SpinRevolution may be more intense than perhaps Yoga or Pilates, all of our classes can be suitable for all levels of fitness. Our expert instructors will ensure there are alternatives and adaptations in place so that clients of all levels can feel physically challenged but not overwhelmed.
If you’re new to thePoint4, ask us about our 3-Day Pass. For all newcomers visiting the centre, this pass will allow you free entry, either to an exercise class or a gym session for 3 consecutive days. Giving you the chance to try out a few classes before deciding whether you would like to sign up with us.
No - everyone is welcome to use our facilities on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Classes are available to both members and non-members. For non-members, each class is £7.00, and you may book up to 7 days in advance. Even without a membership, you can still pay for and book your class using thePoint4’s App or self service website.

There are NO joining fees when signing up for a Membership at thePoint4. We also do not have fixed-term memberships, allowing you the freedom to join and leave as best suits you. All you need to do is choose your preferred membership type, and whether you wish to pay monthly or annually.
There is a café in our reception area. The Pod offers Costa Coffee, cakes and pastries, with sub sandwiches, wraps and salads made freshly to order.
Outside their opening hours, there are sandwiches, snacks and drinks (both hot and cold) available through self-service.
Members of thePoint4 qualify for free parking in our car park. All non members will need to pay to cover the duration of their stay. Options available are 2-hour, 4-hour and all day, starting as low as £1.00.
As part of becoming a member with thePoint4, our expert instructors will take you through an induction process. The first appointment will familiarise you with our gym equipment and how to use appropriately. From there will be optional follow up appointments, where our instructors can work with you to design a bespoke exercise program that will align best with your chosen fitness goals.
In addition, we offer a Personal Training Rental Scheme. Where qualified and insured Personal Trainers can rent our facility to conduct their Personal Training sessions with clients. If you’re interested in becoming a client, provide us with your details and we will put you in touch with a suitable Personal Trainer.
All members of thePoint4 can request a bespoke program with our gym instructors – for absolutely free. After getting to know you, and your intended fitness goals, our instructors will design a workout program for you to follow. They will give guidance and instruction on how to complete the exercises prescribed, so you have the understanding and confidence to complete your own workout sessions
You do not need to be any level of fitness or ability to consider Personal Training, the training sessions are PERSONAL to you. Young or old, new to fitness or a gym veteran, looking to improve yourself or perhaps some physical rehabilitation. Our Personal Trainers can cover a broad variety to help you achieve your goals.
thePoint4’s opening hours are 6:15am till 10:00pm Monday to Friday, and 08:30am till 5:00pm on weekends. All private and public hire is available between these hours, though we can accommodate private hire outside of these times dependant on the request (and reflected in hiring costs). We offer football, futsal, netball, conferences, studio space, even birthday parties, and much more.
We are found off Venns Lane, in Hereford. The turning for our car park and front entrance is located off Campbell Road. We share the same building and campus as The Royal National College for the Blind, who we are in partnership with.
